Garnish your Winter Lambrusco Cocktail for Halloween with an Orange

I was telling a girlfriend about this new and fun cocktail idea the other day and *insert jaw drop* she had NEVER heard of Lambrusco! If you haven’t either, don’t worry, you are not alone! Essentially,  it’s a sparkling red wine with an effervescence similar to Prosecco, but often less sweet and more full bodied (depending on the type you buy!). In my opinion, it’s really the perfect drink- the depth in flavor of red wine, less sugary than champagne but chilled, bubbly and FUN!

Halloween Lambrusco Cocktail served in a gold rimmed glass is spooky and pretty

I tend to prefer for the drier versions of Lambrusco, especially for this Halloween cocktail recipe. With so many versions of Lambrusco available, your best bet is to ask for a recommendation at your local wine shop (based on your personal preference)!
